"Customer service matters most when people are dealing with some of the hardest moments of their lives. I called after my father’s death seeking general information about the life insurance claims process and was surprised by how dismissive and unhelpful the interaction was.

I fully understand there are privacy rules and beneficiary restrictions. What I did not expect was to be spoken to as though my questions were unreasonable.

The conversation left me feeling worse than when I called. I hope future callers experiencing a loss receive the patience, professionalism, and compassion that were missing from my experience."

"The worst premier customer service I have ever received, so that is false advertising. I was told by Connie McCain, the agent who is in charge of the agency in Damien Shull's daily absence, I complain too much about my bill not being sent on time because when I let them do auto-pay, I was over charged $1,000 and if I did not catch it and complain, I would never have been reimbursed. It took 90 days to be reimbursed, I also called to complain about being reimbursed, and it took them moments to take it directly from my account. Now for the last 4 months, my bill is delivered registered mail with the cancellation notice, but not my regular bill sent. When I call to inform them, Connie says, "I call every month and complain too much, just pay it, including the late fees" which are $10, but i have 5 policies and that would be an extra $50 a month, and she and "State Farm and me do not care". NO WAY! State Farm already makes enough on me and if she cannot handle premier customer service, she should quit. As far as Damien goes, he sent me a message and said he wants me to transfer to another agent or he will send my policies to the regional office tonight, never even asked me what the issue was. So, I transferred my business to another agency. I suggest you do the same, "premier customer service" is not what they do and apparently, they don't care."

"Damien is GREAT to work with. I initially just went to him to talk numbers and see if it would make sense for me to refinance my house with the interest rates as low as they have been lately. I hadn't paid off even $5k of my original loan yet so I was not sure on what would be best, or if it would even be worth going through with. Damien walked me through some numbers and even at just 1% lower in my mortgage interest rate, it was a no brainer that I had to refinance. Throughout the entire process, Damien made sure that everything was as smooth as possible (with the pandemic, the process did take longer, but that was out of everyone's control).
